  1. I know that the exhibit specifically commemorates and educates about the fact that gay men were forced to wear the pink triangle by the Nazis during WWII. However, as the triangle is also now a symbol reclaimed by the LGBTQIA2S+ community (of which I am a part), and because the exhibit specifically mentions that trans women were also made to wear the symbol during WWII, I’m a little puzzled about why gay/bi men are the only demographic that seem to be represented in the bios on the wall. I would love to see more bios added that include nonbinary folks, trans women (who were the cornerstone of the Stonewall Riots), and other folks such as two spirit folks. I didn’t feel like any of my identities were represented in the bios. Thanks for considering this.
